DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, May 10\, from 9:00 a.m. – noon\, as we support the Geauga Youth Center (GYC) by refreshing their community garden\, a vital space for residents’ growth and healing. Dress for the weather and bring labeled gardening tools if possible. Donations of plants\, mulch\, and other materials are welcome. Light refreshments will be provided. Location details will be shared upon registration. \nGYC is a class one residential facility serving youth ages 14-17 with respite and residential services. Through a family-centered approach to therapy\, GYC works to strengthen both residents and families toward reunification. Funded by Geauga County Job and Family Services\, the Geauga County Board of Mental Health and Recovery Services\, and led by Ravenwood Health\, the center provides intensive counseling\, exposure to prosocial activities\, and small-group academic services to youth with mental health and substance use diagnoses. \n*This event is for LG alumni (and their friends/family) only.
