Leadership Geauga is proud to announce the graduation of the Fall 2025 class of the Heritage Program for Retirees. The six-week program, held from October to November, welcomed 17 engaged participants who explored Geauga County’s businesses, organizations, and rich local history.
Over the course of six class days, participants met with 46 community leaders and visited or were exposed to 34 businesses and organizations, giving them a comprehensive look at the resources, challenges, and opportunities that shape Geauga County. Weekly Wednesday sessions featured interactive activities, guided tours, and presentations from leaders across sectors such as parks and recreation, local government, history, business, agriculture, human services, and government.

Graduates received a comprehensive list of community service opportunities, and many have already begun exploring ways to give back. Their increased engagement reflects the program’s purpose: empowering residents to remain connected, active, and impactful contributors to Geauga County.
